WHAT IS BIOFUEL?

 Biofuel is considered any fuel that is derivered from biomass, that is, plant or algae material or animal waste.The two most common types of biofuels in use today are bioethanol and biodiesel, both of which represent the first generation of biofuel technology.

Bioethanol is an alcohol made through fermentation, often from carbohydrates produced in sugar or starch vegetation together with corn, sugarcane, or candy sorghum. Cellulosic biomass, derived from non-meals sources, together with bushes and grasses, is likewise being advanced as a feedstock for ethanol production. Ethanol may be used as a gasoline for motors in its natural form (E100), however it also includes used as a gas additive to growth octane and enhance automobile emissions.

Biodiesel is comprised of oils or fat the use of transesterification. It may be used as a gas for cars in its natural form (B100), however it is also used as a diesel additive to lessen stages of particulates, carbon monoxide, and hydrocarbons from diesel-powered cars.
